Can MJF parts handle heat?
MJF parts offer reasonable heat resistance for most functional applications. PA12 parts have a heat deflection temperature of around 175°C under low load, but real-world performance depends on the load and duration of exposure. For moderate thermal environments such as automotive interiors, enclosures near electronics, or industrial components MJF parts perform well. However, they are not suited for prolonged exposure to high temperatures or direct flame. If your application demands higher thermal performance, consider post-processing options or alternative materials.
